Job Description
We are seeking motivated and physically fit General Workers to support our construction team on various building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradesmen, help maintain the site, and perform general labor tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role is crucial in supporting the timely and safe completion of construction projects.
Responsibilities
-Assist carpenters, masons, scaffolders, and other skilled workers on-site
-Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment
-Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazards
-Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, sand, and mortar
-Operate basic hand tools and construction equipment under supervision
-Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding or barriers
-Follow all safety protocols and ensure the use of proper PPE
-Support in transporting materials and organizing storage areas
-Perform other general duties as assigned by site supervisors or engineers
Qualification
-Experience working in residential, commercial, or civil construction projects
-Knowledge of basic tools and construction materials
-Certification in site safety or construction training
Skill & Experience
-Previous experience in construction labor or similar physical work preferred
-Physically strong and able to perform manual tasks in all weather conditions
-Willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks
-Familiarity with construction site safety rules and procedures
-Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
-Basic communication skills in English or local language
